Smart Frog Group Ltd. : GDPR STATEMENT
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new standard for how companies use and protect EU citizens’ data, which cam einto effect on 25th May 2018.
What is the GDPR?
The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and is designed to harmonise data protection laws across Europe; to protect and empower all EU citizens’ privacy and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy.
What is Smart Frog Group doing?
We want to ensure we meet our legal obligations and do the best we can for our clients, while allowing us to remain agile so we can develop great products and services.
We’re updating our Data Processing agreements:
Strong data protection commitment is a key part of the GDPR’s requirements. Our data processing agreement shares our privacy commitments and sets out the terms for Smart Frog Group and its clients to meet the GDPR requirements. New agreements will become available in due course.
Identifying personal data:
Each of our processes undertakes a different level of personal data collection, usage, storage and disposal. Defining the scope of personal data and documenting the various sources will aid in our developing roadmap for compliance.
We’re coordinating with our suppliers
We will constanty review and work with our suppliers to ensure they meet standards required by the GDPR in order that we may continue to comply outselves. Where necessary we have data processing agreements with them.
Google Cloud services and GDPR:
We use Google Cloud Storgae solution to to manage some of our data. Google is committed to continued GDPR compliance and currently holds ISO 27017:2015 certification (information security controls for Cloud services) across all the Cloud services that Smart Grog Group Ltd. utilises.
